When she attended her first workshop, she quickly fell in love with the concept and was thrilled when presented with the opportunity to own Board & Brush Medina. After years in sales and the medical industry, she knew she wanted to find a better fit that would be something she loved and something more flexible with her kids’ schedules. Once she began a sales career working with small businesses and franchises, she always thought of opening her own business but wasn’t sure what she wanted to do. She graduated from The University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management/Business Administration and a minor in Sales Management. Hopefully they will get it together because there was a time you would have to wait to get a table and I believe it could be that way again.Adriane Kerr was born and raised in Medina County. Like I said we love the hotdog menu, the people are very nice. Who wants to look at dirty stuff when their eating. Perhaps “ white” swing doors was not a good choice of colors.because the dirt really shows. A little cleaning with soap and water is needed there as well. My spouse noticed how dirty the swinging doors are back into the kitchen area is. the (one and only) can get a good cleaning as well. Sure hope the owner reads this and fixes the issues at hand. Yes like I said we like the place put it’s slipping. The food was better this particular day then the week we ate there before.

Waitress was very nice but she needed help and direction on how to give out utensils. She had been handling menus, cleaning off other tables, handling money etc.

I don’t know when the table was last washed but I don’t like my eating utensils just tossed on a table with waitresses bare hand. The waitress brought a fork, placed on the table. Then when we got our food we had to ask for utensils as did another patron.

She took a phone order which was pretty big while others sat waiting to. Was only one waitress this day and she could not keep up with small weekday lunch crowd. New owners really need to address some issues. Please put some heart back into this restaurant to make it what it wants used to be More At a time when facemasks are mandatory only half their staff wears masks the kitchen crew who is in an out of the kitchen to the dining area where without masks. Yet they fail to take it off, If you push the issue they try to find someone who can reduce the bill by 3.84%. If you pay by cash they will credit this. Prices include a 3.84% add on for credit card usage. After 10 minutes of looking they discovered they don’t have it.

The majority of the employees did not know what celry salt was. Since I didn’t taste the celery salt on the dog I asked for some on the side. One of the specialties about a Chicago style dog is the celery salt. After asking several other employees they discovered they could make a malt. I ordered a malt they said they don’t make malts, Even though it was on the menu. On my recent visit things have drastically changed. Moreĭan’s dogs used to be an awesome place. I likened the experience to walking into a dive bar that features Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in cans and order a French 75 cocktail, expecting a good result.

Again, the name of the place is Dan's Dogs, not Dan's Dogs & Burgers. My wife enjoyed her hot dog very much whereas my burger & fries left a lot to be desired - the burger stack (2 patties) was overcooked, the bun was greasy, and the fries were cut too thin and fried too long. Great variety of hot dogs with assorted toppings, purportedly representing different geographic tastes of the USA, as well as some with strange toppings & made up names. posters from the 50's and 60's, as well as period specific booths & tables - complete with wall box juke boxes (non-functioning) at each table. Very "nostalgic" decor with pictures and. Fortunately, Dan's serves both, but there is a reason the establishment is called Dan's Dogs and not Dan's Dogs & Burgers. Stopped in for lunch as my wife had a desire for hot dogs I myself preferred a hamburger.
